Chart notes
LITTLE TOY GUNS stalked the early pace, was roused left handed before the furlong marker, surged late under an energetic hand ride and was along in time. EAGLE NEST pressed the pace two wide into the stretch, gained a narrow lead at the furlong marker and just missed hanging on by the narrowest of margins. IT'S OFFICIAL set a pressured pace along the inside until mid stretch, dug in determinedly but was outfinished. RECKLESS L J charged the gate then miss stepped when the gates opened, trailed far and, passed tiring rivals late. SPECIALIZED with the second flight inside, was through after a half. WASABI BEACH with the second flight two wide, weakened on the turn. THE STEWARDS POSTED THE INQUIRY SIGN BUT TOOK NO ACTION.
