COME OUT FIGHTING was forwardly-placed outside a foe in behind the leading pair, moved out three then four wide passing the three-eighths, advanced on the leaders, bid nearing the furlong marker, dueled to the wire and got the nod. ZOMBO BOMBO came in a bit at the start and was promptly urged forward moving quickly to the lead, was pressured by an outside foe up the backstretch, dueled inside that rival on the turn and was encouraged along by the quarter pole, put away the early sparring partner then was joined by a new foe to the outside coming the furlong grounds, dueled inside that one and just lost in a head-bobbing finish. SWAGGISH rated toward the back along the inside, angled out in upper- to mid-stretch passing the furlong marker, gained steadily late but was not enough. WINDRIBBON was forwardly-placed tracking from inside, moved out late on the turn shifting five wide into upper stretch, lacked the needed late kick. CHASIN MUNNY was outside mid-division up the backstretch, went three wide on the turn, was carried seven deep coming out of that bend, evened out in the stretch. MANDELA EFFECT got away well, pressed the runner-up from outside, applied further pressure two then three wide on the turn but could not sustain the effort and faltered in upper stretch. KAHUNA MAGIC broke a step slowly, trailed early, saved ground on the turn and passed tired rivals. THE KEY IS UNITY chased from mid-pack racing off the inside in the two to three path, weakened in the stretch. MAGIC CONNECTION was in just a bit tight at the start, settled outside toward the back racing four wide into the turn, floated six wide into upper stretch, failed to rally. PERFECTO AMOR was toward the back in behind and between foes up the backstretch heading into the turn, raced three to four wide between runners on that bend, came out six wide for the stretch, failed to menace.
