Chart notes
CRIMSON RED ROAD pressed the pace, challenged on the turn, assumed command and drew off in the drive under steady urging. POLAR WOLF raced close to the pace towards the outside, closed steadily and earned place while no threat to the winner. DONEGAL NOW was never far back, put in a steady bid and got up late for show. MCBRIDGE raced close to the pace along the inside, dropped back into the turn, bid and came up empty. DAWSON JAMES hopped and bobbled at the start, saved ground, lacked the needed rally and failed to menace. LOST HERO broke slowly, trailed the field, offered a mild bid and did not threaten. FIRST SAMARITAN got away well, set a pressured pace to the turn and gave way.
