Chart notes
PANAGIOTIS broke sharply and rated kindly outside the leader, went on the attack leaving the half mile marker, sparred past the five sixteenths, was urged clear into the lane, powered away under a drive in mid stretch, was kept alert to about the sixteenth pole then cruised late. LEONIDAS STAND , off the pace while saving ground, angled out mid turn, circled five wide into the stretch and finished up with good energy to get the place. BUZZ ADAMS sped to the front, set the pace towards the inside, dueled from the far turn to the quarter pole, gave willingly pursuit past mid stretch then faded very late. WHISKEY ALLEY edged up wide nearing the half, chased three deep mid turn but lacked a serious finish. WAR CODE , coaxed along between rivals leaving the half, remained between foes mid turn, shifted in some through the drive but lacked a bid. CHANGE YOUR NAME saved ground stalking the early pace, lacked a response mid turn and weakened.
