Chart notes
TIME TO TELL tracked the embattled pair up the backstretch and around the turn, given cue three wide turning for home, dug in under firm handling and got up late. TARTARIAN raced in range then came under a ride past the three eighths pole, took over the lead a furlong out, continued to lead the way into the final sixteenth then got denied late. JAMESONS CHALK settled off the early pace, swung four wide into the lane and finisihed with good response. RED KINGDOM raced in the back, swung wide into the lane and improved position. THE KWEEN'S KING raced near the back, swung five paths wide into the lane and needed more for serious impact. BAD JOKE raced near midpack in the opening quarter, failed to advance two wide around the turn, ran on three wide down the lane and failed to kick on. SOUTHFORK dueled up the backstretch, shook free mid-way around the turn then tired in the drive. PROBABLY dueled for the early lead, could not match strides mid-way around the turn and steadily weakened.
