Chart notes
FACTUALLY CORRECT broke alertly then was hustled, showed the way with a clear advantage, dictated terms in two path while asked on the turn, responded well when put to the crop in upper stretch and just held under strong urging. RUN CLASSIC moved out while urged along off the pace, chased in the three then four path on the turn, was driven into the stretch in the five path, drifted out from a left-handed crop outside the eighth-pole, chased into the final furlong, gained into the final sixteenth, drifted in under a right-handed crop late and just missed while clear for the place. BIG HAT WILLIE was hustled from the gate, switched outside of the leader outside the five-eighths pole then chased that foe, went around the turn in the three path, spun into the stretch in the four path, pursued the winner under a drive into the final furlong and weakened but was clear for the show. PRINCIP dropped back after the start and lacked speed while ridden along, went around the turn in the two to three path, swung out to the five path into upper stretch and improved position without threatening. PAIR OF SOCKS brushed with a rival at the start, chased the pace down the backstretch, raced inside to the two path on the turn and came up empty. SLIM SLOW SLIDER broke out at the start, dropped well off the pace while ridden along on the outside, moved from the five path to the two path on the turn and failed to threaten. KID BILLY brushed with a foe while last away, was urged along off the pace, traveled around the turn in the four path, came out to the seven path while faltering into upper stretch and was pulled up then transported off the track via equine ambulance.
