MISS CANDY GIRL settled inside another in mid-pack early on, waited for the cue to move behind the leaders at the midpoint through the bend, darted on through finding a big seam in the three path turning for home and was relentless in her pursuit in the final eighth of a mile wearing the the leader down by the seventy yard marker to win going away at the wire. FEATHERWEIGHT was forwardly placed sitting just back off the frontrunner on the fence, continued on the rail measuring the pacesetter on the turn, shifted out off the cover of the leader two wide at the quarter pole, pounced easily taking control outside in upper stretch, dug in stubbornly in the final furlong but could not fend off the winners late charge in the final seventy yards outside. BROWN BUTTER SAGE was on the outside going three deep watching the front twosome midway along the backside, dropped back slightly three wide at the five sixteenths pole, moved in again to be in the conversation six wide between challengers at the top of the lane, was no match for the front duo who had it to themselves in the final furlong but ran on smartly to be a clear third in the end. SPORTY ANGELA had a slow beginning spotting the group at the start, had the fence passing an outside foe in mid-backstretch, saved all the ground but could not advance through the turn, skimmed the fence taking the corner and had good late energy inside of runners to settle on the fringes at the finish line. BELIEVE IN LUCK was on the outside of the eventual winner in midfield down the back straight, offered a brief turn of foot circling horses three wide at the five sixteenths pole to be widest in the seven path in the mix straightening out for the stretch drive, could not sustain the outside rally though and flattened out by the sixteenth pole. GIRL'S NITE OUT broke with the field but quickly dropped back to be last by the half mile marker, made little impact unable to progress around foes two wide throughout the bend, closed the gap three wide in upper stretch and did manage to pass a couple of leg weary rivals in the final furlong. DUCKSFLYTOGETHER hopped on the break, recovered between runners improving down the backside forcing the issue outside with a half mile remaining, chased the pacesetter while travelling two to three wide around the bend, shifted to the four path in upper stretch with a chance for a piece of the prize between rivals but gave way with runners on either side in the final furlong. YOU SIGNED IT emerged from the early scramble getting to the rail up top by the half, cleared away on the front end by midturn, hugged the rail but had no answer surrendering the lead turning for home and ran out of gas folding between horses two wide in mid-stretch.
