Chart notes
ZAFYRE was allowed to settle after the break, tracked just off the pace and 3-wide for the first quarter mile, then dropped down to the rail before the turn, then swung three-wide for the stretch drive and wore down the leader to prevail. PUSH MY BUTTON briefly dueled to the outside of LITURGIA before backing off to a stalking position before the half, re-engaged with that one midway through the turn, drove to a short lead in upper stretch, finished well, but could not hold off the winner in the final yards. LITURGIA broke well and went to the front with PUSH MY BUTTON, pressing the issue to the outside, took a solo lead before the half-mile pole, battled back when that rival came back to challenge on the turn, then weakened in mid-stretch. DAME GINA MARIE off a step slow, got within range of the leaders late on the turn but flattened out in the stretch. LOULOU B veered in towards the inner rail after the start, was outpaced early, then dropped far back and was not a factor in the late stages. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
