Chart notes
MY WISH broke well, settled in mid-pack along the rail, tipped four-wide into the stretch, and finished with a rush to get up in time. TIDAL TACTICS was off very poorly, rushed up four-wide on the first turn, took on the leaders, gained command nearing the three-furlong pole, drifted out through the stretch while on the wrong lead, and was worn down late. I MEAN BUSINESS was unhurried and trailed the field early, advanced along the rail on the far turn, then finished well under urging to gain third. RUN LILY settled in mid-pack in the two and three path early on, finished willingly but was outkicked late. PERMANENT PROBLEM broke well but ceded the lead to SPUNHARDCANDY, tracked just behind the pace, moved up alongside TIDAL TACTICS midway down the backstretch, tipped three-wide on the far turn, loomed a threat into deep stretch, but was outkicked late. SPUNHARDCANDY rushed up to seize the early lead, dictated the pace, was overtaken by TIDAL TACTICS before the half-mile pole, stayed on through the turn, but weakened entering the stretch. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
