Chart notes
HOME VISIT pressed the pace along the inside, dropped back into the turn, angled out, bid six wide, closed willingly, got up inside the sixteenth pole and held while fully extended. IRON IN THE FIRE pressed the pace four wide, assumed command on the turn, inched clear entering the stretch, led past the sixteenth pole, fought back when headed, couldn't regain the lead and was outfinished in a game effort. TWOFEXUSNEXUS lagged early in a wide trip, closed willingly to threaten, didn't have enough late and settled for show. GRAZEN BOY saved ground to the turn, angled out, bid five wide and closed well. JOHNNY PODRES raced mid pack, swung wide leaving the turn, bid to get within range and hung late. PLAYING HARDBALL set a pressured pace to the turn, dropped back, was crowded and checked and had little left for the drive. COURTMAN was slow early, swung wide into the stretch and lacked a rally. BLUE CHEESE was not a factor. TRUVY'S BANDIT vied between horses to the turn, tired and stopped.
