Chart notes
MOVISITOR sent for the early lead, set decent pace while well handled, drew away through the lane, ridden out as much the best. ELUSIVE TARGET settled in the second flight, got caught a bit wide to the first turn and into the backstretch run, took back then was was coaxed two wide into the far turn, couldn't make headway on the winner into the lane but stayed on late and earned the place honors. BIG BOYS ANSWER tracked the early pace two then three wide, chased MOVISITOR to upper stretch, was no match for the winner into the lane, outkicked late for the place and held safely for the show. GORDIAN KNOT hesitated at the start and off slowly, improved position to the backstretch then was well placed nearing the half-mile marker, dropped back along the far turn and weakened in the drive. MY IMAGINATION settled inside, no factor. BRINDANO broke out at the start and off a step slowly, settled three wide early on, asked for run four wide into the far turn then chased to the quarter marker, swung widest to upper stretch, failed to threaten in the final stages.
