Chart notes
CYNTHIA GAIL sent for the early lead, set a decent pace while well handled to the half-mile marker, showed the way while clear nearing the quarter pole, drew off through the lane, ridden out late to win as much the best. ADE rated off of the early pace, tracked two to three wide into the backstretch, ran in pursuit of CYNTHIA GAIL nearing the quarter marker, couldn't match strides with the winner into the stretch drive, held for the place. MARY'S REWARD settled outside of rivals to begin, coaxed three to four wide to the half-mile marker, chased three wide nearing the quarter pole, needed more in the lane and missed for the place, while well clear of the rest for the show. QUALIFIED HIRE settled along the inside early on, went up to track the pace from the inside into the backstretch, chased into the far turn then was outrun to the quarter pole, lacked the needed response into the stretch and came up empty in the lane. HI HEELED WARRIOR allowed to settle, lacked early speed and trailed to the half-mile marker, was last into the far turn, coaxed three to four wide for the stretch drive, no late response. THE JOCKEY ON QUALIFIED HIRE LODGED AN OBJECTION AGAINST ADE, CLAIMING INTERFERENCE. THE STEWARDS DISALLOWED THAT OBJECTION, AND RULED THERE WOULD BE NO CHANGE.
