Chart notes
NATURALLY BLONDE stalked the pace from the inside and shifted up around the turn then took command at the quarter pole and drew well clear from the rest. WHY DOROTHY WHY was bumped at the start and was settled at the back of the pack then tipped in to the rail sharply nearing the turn while advancing and rallied into the upper to get the place award but was no match for the winner. LULAS LUCKY CHIP was bumped and brushed on both sides at the break then pressed the pace from the three to four path around the turn and came about six wide into the upper and was just up for the show award. PEANUT BAR set a pressured pace from the two path and shifted out four wide into the upper while drifting out and weakened nearing the sixteenth marker. VELVET BILLET was bumped around at the start and raced eight wide in the middle of the pack then finished evenly in the stretch. HARRIET IN CHARGE was up early and settled back around the turn on the inside then came four wide into the upper and made a mild gain in the stretch. TURPIN MEADOW broke outwards and bumped with a rival and settled upper mid-pack about five wide, then came six wide into the upper while fading. C D LITTLE TROOPER was bumped and squeezed leaving the starting gate and settled mid-pack early in the six to seven path but faltered on the turn.
