Chart notes
BURNHAM SQUARE was allowed to settle early two wide and then three wide down the backside and made a four wide move on the far turn to vie for command by the quarter pole, then had a long drive in the stretch and wore down the inner rivals to prevail late. GRAN ORIENTE (CHI) stalked the pace two wide throughout and made a two wide bid to vie for command between rivals and fought on in the lane but was out-gamed late while saving the place award. DRESDEN ROW was well rated on the rail to nearing the quarter pole, came two wide off the turn and moved out in the lane and was gaining late to just miss the place award. LAYABOUT set the pace on the inside and was headed by the quarter pole and dug in gamely in the stretch and stayed on to the wire. FORT WASHINGTON stumbled badly at the break, reserved early towards the inside, then moved out to have outside pursuit down the backside, three to four wide advance on the far turn and came five to six wide into the lane, idled a bit by the three sixteenths and then offered a mild late kick. TEST SCORE was allowed to settle on the inside, remained on the rail till entering the far turn, moved out to advance three wide to the quarter pole, idled off the turn to the furlong marker and then moved out and was clipped by INTEGRATION and offered a belated kick. INTEGRATION was rated along two wide, came under coaxing on the far turn and made a three wide bid under a ride nearing the quarter pole to vie for command in between rivals, flattened out leaving the turn and then clipped heels leaving the furlong marker and was eased the final sixteenth and walked off.
