Chart notes
BOLT ACTION BEAU took control along the inside soon after the start, set a pressured pace into and through the turn, continued hold the advantage into the stretch, held the runner up at bay the final furlong under firm handling to pull off the upset. GOTTHERIZZ within striking distance up the backstretch while out in the strip, stalled while four wide through the turn, moved closer outside the winner in upper stretch, set down, could not get by that one in the late going. KRAKEN UP forwardly placed while three wide and inside the runner up, remained within striking distance into the lane, lacked a closing punch.;. CAPE ROYAL fell well back after the start, raced four wide into the turn, angled in a bit through the bend, in some traffic with less than a quarter remaining three wide, steered back out when straightened for home and lodged a mild, belated rally. SCHOOLOFHARDKNOCKS raced in the second flight while between horses in the two path, faltered through the lane. INCLUSION MATTERS last to leave, moved up inside, continued to lurk while saving ground through the turn, came up empty for the drive. RYKER'S HEAT asked early in briefly showing speed, began to steadily back up after a quarter.
