Chart notes
THE GIRL IN RED set a pressured pace from the inside with two other opponents then shook clear entering the upper and drew off in the stretch to prove best. STAR ANISE was bumped at the start and settled back early then shifted up nearing the turn and tracked the pace from the two to three path then tipped out five wide into the upper and bumped with MY LUCKY BREAK then had a late kick to be clearly second best. MY LUCKY BREAK stalked the pace from the three path early on and shifted out six wide into the upper and was bumped by a rival then made a mild gain deep into the stretch. MISS ROSIE pressed the pace between rivals from the two path through most of the race then came out four wide into the upper and weakened in the deep stretch. DAY FOR THE GRAY was bumped at the start and settled behind the pace, then came three wide around the turn and five wide into the upper but needed kick. BOLD EXAGGERATION settled off pace and was never a factor.
