Chart notes
AMOROSA raced up close and tugged along the rail wanting to do more under a snug hold, was forced to steady then settled nicely in hand after entering the turn, picked up the pace two wide going by the quarter pole, then was set down for the drive, responded gamely, took over the lead approaching the furlong marker and finished clear. RUN FOR GOLD set a pressured pace up the backstretch, continued with a slim lead around the turn, got collared by the winner near the eighth pole, ran on and just lasted for place. MO LUTE was forwardly placed in the opening quarter, continued in striking distance late on the turn, fanned four deep into the head of the lane, ran on under firm handling and just missed place. LIL SCREECHER raced off the early pace, swung to the outside entering the head of the lane, finished with response and just missed the runner up spots. PALACE GUARD raced in the back, swung wide into the lane and lacked a needed rally. GLENGARRY prompted the pace up the backstretch, sat poised to strike at the quarter pole, failed to respond when called upon and gave way.
