NONCONSECUTIVETRMS was fractious in the gate, raced in the two path under reserve, was roused in the four path into the stretch, rallied outside to get the lead inside the furlong marker then drew clear under steady handling. PRIME CONNECTION saved ground while rated off the pace, was asked in the two path at the quarter-pole, bumped with LOSE THE BLUES just after turning into the stretch, moved out around the three-sixteenths pole and just got up for the place. AMICABLE FARCE established a forward position from the gate, tugged keenly on the bit while outside of a foe into the first turn, raced in the two to three path on that bend, contested the pace on the outside while in hand, vied in the two path on the far turn, was asked at the quarter-pole, led under a drive into the final furlong then was headed by the winner and weakened then just lost the place while clear for the show. HEDGE BOOK angled in early, traveled around the first turn in the two path, settled off the pace, was asked while moving from the inside to the three path on the far turn, came into the stretch in the five path and lacked the needed response. TIMELESS MELODY saved ground towards the back, was roused on the far turn and failed to threaten. MUSIC BOX went to the front, contested the pace on the inside while in hand, was asked at the quarter-pole, battled under a drive in upper stretch, dropped back into the final furlong and tired. FANCY N' FLIGHT reared at the start and hit the inside of the gate, was off slow and spotted the front a few lengths, raced in the three path on the first turn, settled at the rear, was roused while moving from the two path to the four path on the far turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive and failed to rally. LOSE THE BLUES broke out some and towards the rear, rounded the first turn in the three path, tracked the pace on the outside, chased in the three path on the far turn, lugged in a bit and bumped with PRIME CONNECTION inside the quarter-pole then was taken up and capitulated. FOLLOWING A STEWARDS INQUIRY INTO THE STRETCH RUN, NO CHANGE WAS MADE TO THE ORDER OF FINISH
