Chart notes
SANGER stumbled at the start, vied to the second turn, inched clear and just lasted under steady urging. VINNIEBOB moved up along the backstretch, challenged on the turn, swung out and dropped back entering the stretch, closed steadily and was gaining late. THE LAST FEAT was unhurried early, saved ground, bid off the rail into the stretch to get within range, hung late and settled for show. LOOKATHERGLIDE vied inside to the second turn, bid three wide and lacked the needed late response. AMERICAN EMPIRE stalked the pace to the second turn, dropped back and went evenly late. AMERICAN SOLO put in a steady effort in a wide trip and failed to menace. DIABLO ROSSO vied inside around the first turn, was rated back, saved ground, bid along the rail on the turn and lacked a response. HOLCOMBE was not a factor. GRIFTER raced mid pack in an outside trip, had nothing left for the drive and dropped back steadily. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction, and it was re-timed using video technology to obtain the most accurate final time available.
