CREATIVE OM broke running from along the inside, showed the way into the first turn, rated the middle half while laying down a legit set of early fractions, let out a notch into the lane, widened his advantage the final furlong while under continued steady handling. J. B. BOOKS outrun in the early going, began to advance in the three path into the far turn, dropped inside for the run through that bend, cut the corner into the lane to reach closest to the winner, chased that one home to prove second best. PISTOL POWER broke with the winner, prompted that one from the outside, continued closest to that one while off the inside second turn, had little for the drive to finish best of the other two. Y VEE R within striking distance while racing three wide, evenly paced the middle part, had little for the stretch run. BENNY BUCKETS broke out, was straightened to angle toward the inside, tracked up the backstretch, began to weaken in the second turn, continued that retreat through the lane.
