Chart notes
MASTER STEAL was lightly brushed at the start then strongly urged to make the lead, did so and set a pressured pace, dueled inside a rival through the turn, drew clear in mid- to late-stretch and held under steady urging. ATERYA chased from outside, paused briefly nearing the half as a rival ducked out in front, continued outside a foe two to three wide on the turn, came out a bit for the drive, gained late and was second best. ANDTHEOSCARGOESTO got away well, forced the pace from outside, drew even on the turn dueling with the eventual winner, yielded in mid-stretch. MISTER BEAN broke outwardly brushing a rival lightly, chased from inside, failed to menace. RURAL ROOTS broke outwardly, was devoid of early speed and never near enough to threaten. SILENT LEE broke a step slowly, advanced inside up the backstretch, veered out sharply nearing the half losing the rider. FOLLOWING A STEWARDS' INQUIRY NO ACTION WAS TAKEN.
