Chart notes
SURELY THE ONE off slowly to spot the field a couple of lengths, raced unhurried for a half, angled out and was four wide into the lane, set down for the drive, rallied, challenged on the outside, challenged with less than a furlong remaining and proved best under firm handling. TROT THIS WAY chased the dueling leaders while in the three path, advanced outside that pair into the lane, gained the advantage, responded and dueled with the winner when that one came calling inside the furlong grounds, gave ground grudgingly to that rival. LOVE ME SOME CANDY dueled up front while off the inside, continued to alternate up front into and through the turn, fell back off the other speed in upper stretch, angled in, came back for the show spot while unable to contain the top two. MY SWEET ANGEL away in good order, dueled up front closest to the inside, shook clear in upper start, drifted out a bit and faltered to lose the show while also proving no match for the top pair in the final sixteenth. B'S LUCK slow to settled out of the chute while falling back, trailed throughout in failing to menace.
