Chart notes
AROSE FOR LILY settled widest in the second flight, made a sharp middle move through the turn to bid three-wide for the lead at the top of the stretch, dueled with HOT T'MATER through the final stages and gained the upper hand over that stubborn foe in the final yards. HOT T'MATER dueled for the lead from the start, disposed of two early challengers near the quarter pole then took on a new bid from AROSE FOR LILLY from the top of the stretch, battled that rival gamely through the length of the stretch and gave way grudgingly in the shadow of the wire. RICHIESGOLDENGIRL tracked from mid-pack down the backstretch, tipped out four-wide into the stretch, finished up well and was closing the gap on the top two but ran out of time. TRY rushed up after the break to vie with two rivals to the outside for the early advantage, gave way before the quarter pole, kept on, but steadied near the sixteenths marker and lost any remaining chance. LAUREN'S WAR outpaced from the start, made a solid belated rally to improve position. PASSING PASSION raced between rivals in the second flight, moved up early on the turn but lacked a clear forward path, idled near the quarter pole, swung out five or six wide and tried to rally but flattened out in the final furlong. I DID THE MATH lacked early speed and raced near the back early, dropped down to the inside on the turn and continued to run on up the rail with some late interest to improve. HARPER BRIANA got bounced around after the start, was in the back half of the field early and lacked a finish. LADIES LEGACY raced in range of the leaders early, came under a ride to keep up late on the turn, loomed with a chance in upper stretch, but flattened out. HANABI chased from mid-pack, then weakened midway through the turn and had nothing to offer late. CHASING SEATTLE was outrun early and lacked a finish. SHOW PAM disputed the pace three-deep to the stretch, then tired.
