Chart notes
POPCORN N PEACHES stalked the pace through the turn, rallied five wide in upper stretch, wore the leaders down in mid-stretch and pulled clear unthreatened late. HONORANDAPRAYER unhurried to be the trailer in the field and mounted a good, belated bid down the lane to be up for the place. VOODOO prompted the early pace, moved to challenge from three wide on the turn, vied for the lead to the eighth pole and weakened in the final furlong. MAYHEM sped to aa clear lead steps from the gate, dueled on the lead from the quarter pole to midway down the lane and tired in the final eighth. TWIRLAWAY tracked the leaders for a half mile and finished evenly lacking a closing bid. BACK THE CRICK bore out bolting to the outside fence from the break, was eased on the turn and was removed from the track by an equine ambulance as a precaution.
