Chart notes
DRUNK ON SAKE set the pace on a well rated, well measured lead to the far turn, responded gamely when challenged nearing the quarter pole to vie through the lane, repelled the challenge in the final sixteenth to go clear late. R ADMIRAL stalked the pace to the far turn, rallied to engage the leader at the quarter pole, battled to midway down the lane and was turned away in deep stretch in a good effort. DEL RAYO reserved off the pace for the first half mile, rallied to prominence on the final turn and flattened out unable to sustain the bid in the lane. DRUNKLE raced in mid-pack throughout going evenly. MAYNARD trailed for most of the trip and passed weaker without impact. CAMILO failed to menace. SMOKIN' HOT pressed the pace for a half mile and was eased midway on the far turn and walked off.
