ASCENDANCE raced in mid pack down the backstretch, stayed in the three path the far turn, found ample room inside horses to take the lead in upper stretch, drifted out near the sixteenth pole and lasted under energetic urging. ARDANWOOD hopped and was a bit rank at the start, stalked outside horses down the backstretch, raced wide the far turn, was floated to the seven path in upper stretch, challenged for the lead near the sixteenth pole and hung. LAKE CHAPALA , well placed along the inner rail down the backstretch, moved to the two path leaving the far turn, was carried to the five path by WHTING FIELD when challenging for the lead between horses in upper stretch and flattened out. STYNER m lightly steadied in close quarters the first turn, loomed three wide entering the stretch, was carried to the six path in upper stretch and failed to sustain the move. BROADCASTER , four wide the first turn, remained well off the rail on the far turn, moved to the inner rail in upper stretch, challenged for the lead in mid stretch then weakened. WHITING FIELD , three wide the first turn, sprinted clear and moved to the inner rail on the far turn, set the pace to the quarter pole, drifted to the four path in upper stretch and gave way. DEVELOP PRODUCT , four wide the first turn, circled the far turn five wide, was floated to the eighth path in upper stretch and weakened. DATS MY PHARAOH saved ground on the far turn and dropped back. HAVE YOU HEARD hugged the inner rail down the backstretch, dropped back and was eased.
