TAP MAN got the lead early and set a pressured pace for a half mile then responded to urging and edged away under a drive. COLONEL BROCK pressed the winner, stayed within striking distance to the stretch then got outkicked without being threatened for second. TIZ A BUDDY chased the top two for three furlongs then gave way. A GREAT SERGEANT also chased for three furlongs then gave out.
