BENJIS BENEFIT (IRE) outrun in the early going toward the inside after bobbling just after the start, tipped out onto the backstretch, launched a solid middle move four wide up the backstretch, reached outside the leader while continuing with good momentum midway on the final bend, dueled with that one into the straight, disposed of that same foe and drew comfortably clear under steady handling. SHIRLEY'S BOYZ devoid of any speed for six furlongs, asked along midway on the final turn out in the course after winding up earlier in that bend, came five wide for the drive, finished willingly down the middle of the strip to earn the place, no threat to the winner. ALL FRUITS RIPE broke running from along the inside, showed the way into and through the first turn, dueled closest to the inside up the backstretch and into the far turn, garnered a briefly larger advantage until joined by the winner midway on that bend, raced on equal terms with that into and through upper stretch then weakened, managed to save the show. RULE SEVENTY SIX lacked speed, continued unhurried through most of the final turn, behind traffic into the lane, split foes and lodged a late and willingly run to improve position. THE FED'S PLOT also well back for six furlongs, raced behind horses as well into the lane, displayed some moderate late interest to better his position as well while angling in slightly late. GREAT HUNT raced within striking distance off the inside, continued in the second flight into and through the final turn, raced three wide into the lane, lacked a closing punch then gave way late. GRAND LIAM well back for six furlongs, asked, swung five wide into the lane, made a late run on the outside to pick up several positions. MY FRIEND LOU settled in the main body along the inside, continued to save ground to no avail to finish up evenly. SILVER PUNCH raced in mid pack, had little for the stretch drive,. KING OF THE ISLES (IRE) in the second flight early while between horses, began a steady retreat after a half. DON'T TELL TIM forwardly placed off the inside past the wire the first time, prompted the leader through the first turn, dueled in the two path up the backstretch and into the final turn, first to blink, continued to fade through the straight. GOLD RULES forwardly placed four almost six furlongs along the inside, gave way.
