Chart notes
BOURBON FLIGHT tracked from the three path, closed in along with an outer rival turning for home, bid in upper stretch, forged an advantage at the furlong grounds and drove clear. SPIRIT OF A WALKON vied two wide, led leaving the three furlong pole, but got caught by an outer bidder at the furlong grounds and proved second best while hanging on his left lead. THE TOWN trailed in the three path, progressed while fanning four to six wide into upper stretch and ran on to edge show. GLOBAL QUOTE laid off of the pace in the three path, shifted to the five path and between horses in upper stretch, bid for show in the final furlong but got outfinished by an outer counterpart. SOUND CAUSE chased in the two path, retreated around the far turn to trail at the quarter pole yet improved position through the lane. ALSTON laid off of the pace in the four path, gained ground around the turn, bid in upper stretch but flattened out and tired. RUGGED LOVE led from an outer prompter down the backstretch, got headed at the three furlong pole and weakened. BHATIA stalked along the inside then faded around the far turn.
