ALIBI raced off the pace inside, then tracked the leaders on the backside, bid three wide on the far turn, dueled with BLACKFIN (IRE) in the stretch run, wore down that rival and edged away late for the win. BLACKFIN (IRE) pulled while racing close up early on, took back off the pacesetter, stalked two wide, bid on the far turn, took over, then dueled with ALIBI in the stretch, dug in gamely inside and came up second best. OLATZ (GB) steadied nearing the first turn and went wide, then trailed on the inside, came two wide into the lane and failed to threaten. BEST NOT MISS was off a bit slow, moved up early to set the pace on the inside, then gave way on the far turn.
