TALLMAR away alertly to set the pace in the two path, responded when roused, held a short lead into the stretch, dug in gamely on the rail, dueled with COMPLEX MUSIC to the finish and held on determinedly. COMPLEX MUSIC raced off the pace, moved up three wide on the turn, rallied three wide into the stretch, bid at the furlong marker, dug in gamely outside, dueled to the wire and just missed. GUAPO AGAIN (ARG) stalked close up three wide, chased between rivals on the turn, dug in through the final furlong and earned the show spot. MARBLE HALL raced close up early on the rail, chased inside on the turn and weakened. LORD BERRIER raced off the pace inside and did not factor. KAZ SWEET HEIST dropped far back early and was outrun.
