Chart notes
BOTTAS tucked in early, was reserved in the two path while given cover, shifted to the three path while roused late on the far turn, rallied outside to make a bid coming to the furlong marker, gained the lead inside that marker and edged clear under strong urging to prove best. BLINGING IT BACK was moving around a bit at the start but broke with the body of the field, settled outside in the two path while given cover, moved closer with five furlongs to run, tracked in the two path on the far turn, was asked once straightened for the drive, rallied to the lead outside the furlong marker, was headed by the winner outside the sixteenth-pole then outfinished while just able to get the place. TOUCH OF FIRE broke a bit awkwardly then was bumped lightly, saved ground while reserved off the pace, drafted inside on the far turn, was asked after turning into the stretch, chased behind the leading trio while under a drive into the final furlong, paused then altered out behind those foes outside the sixteenth-pole and finished willingly to just miss the place while able to get the show. PRINT bumped with foes just after the start then dropped back in tight quarters, settled on the inside at the rear, moved to the two path under urging coming to the quarter-pole, came out to the five path into the stretch and improved to get the last spot in the superfecta. THIRD COAST was bumped in the hindquarters at the start then came in and bumped VASY, went to the front, opened up a clear advantage on the inside, saw the margin diminish with five furlongs to run, was asked while inside on the far turn, came under the crop in upper stretch, lost the advantage outside the furlong marker and weakened. ARIZONA TERRITORY broke in and bumped THIRD COAST, was reserved in the two path, came under urging on the far turn, swung into the stretch in the four path, chased outside in the drive and gained some but lacked the needed kick. VASY (IRE) bumped with rivals on both sides at the start, saved ground while reserved off the pace, was roused in the three path into the stretch, moved out a bit more under a drive around the three-sixteenths pole and lacked the needed response.
