Chart notes
DROP YOUR GLOVES settled off the leading pair up the backstretch racing off the rail, edged closer leaving the turn, moved out five wide in upper stretch, drove past and clear. WAHEELA was a bit slow to gather but encouraged forward inside to mid-pack, came out six wide past the furlong marker, kept on well but was second best. DRAW BOOT bumped a rival at the start, settled off the pace racing outside, advanced three then four wide on the turn, swung out six to seven wide for the drive, gained late to secure show honors. DEVIL'S TONGUE was urged forward, dueled inside, ran on. CATEGORY FIVE was in a bit tight after the start, shifted in, settled off the pace, angled six wide at the top of the stretch, was gaining too late. SWITCHIN' TO GLIDE got away well, allowed others to go on with it settling mid-pack outside, shifted in leaving the turn and rallied mildly inside in the stretch. AUTOBAHN ACE dueled outside a foe, lacked the needed late kick. PARADISE PERFECT broke outwardly, shifted in late up the backstretch racing outside a rival two to three wide well back of the leaders, swung seven to eight deep for the drive, failed to menace. HALCON NEGRO was bumped at the start, settled at the rear, made no impact.
