Chart notes
NUMERO SIETE tracked the leaders to midway on the turn, rallied to vie for the lead in upper stretch, went clear from the tiring leader inside the eighth pole and held the runner-up safe in deep stretch. NORTHWIND was well placed throughout, lost some tactical position on the turn and closed well in the lane to just miss. HUSKER BUTCH reserved off the early pace, rallied to prominence on the bend and was outkicked in the late going. RACER REX prompted the pace early, moved up on the turn to duel on the lead through mid-stretch and weakened late. TAKE MY MONEY was slow early to be the trailer and passed weaker rivals in the lane without impact. BREXTON bobbled at the start, was quickly gathered up into stride and was never a factor from the break. CHIRAG flashed brief speed and was through early.
