PEACOCK ROAD was unhurried, moved up three-wide nearing the quarter pole to offer a bid, gained a slight lead nearing the eighth pole and proved best under [pressure. ANIMAL FRIES vied with VINO'S ANGEL for the early lead from along the inside, then settled to stalk that one, moved up two-wide nearing the quarter pole then disputed the issue from that point but wasn't quite good enough in a game effort. VINOS ANGEL vied with ANIMAL FRIES for the lead, opened a clear lead nearing the five-eighths pole then set the pace into the stretch and held on well for third when headed. ASK AMANDA was reserved off the pace racing two-wide, came four-wide into the stretch and lacked a rally. CEEBEE saved ground while being all0wed to settle and failed to menace.
