Chart notes
HIGH PRONTO away quickly to take the lead then dueled from outside, fought head to head through the turn, cleared rivals on both sides at the eighth pole and was ridden out to the wire. BOSS MAN BOLT chased the top pair up the backstretch, asked two then there wide on the turn, challenged three deep into the lane, got turned away by the winner past the eighth pole and stayed on for a clear second. EL JABALI broke in and bumped SUMMER MISCHIEF, went up to challenge for the lead from inside, battled around the bend, failed to kick on with the top pair into the final furlong, weakened in the late stages but retained third. SUMMER MISCHIEF got bumped at the start, trailed early then had one beat up the backstretch, went three wide into the turn, angled to the rail around the bend, tipped back out for the stretch and lacked a rally. BEATNIK dropped back early, trailed three then two wide around the turn and passed a tired rival. ANOTHER WARRIOR attended the pace three deep early, dropped back on the turn and had little left for the stretch run.
