Chart notes
VINO VIKING was reserved off the pace, moved up racing four-wide at the quarter pole, caught the leaders at the eighth pole and prevailed under strong handling. FAVORED SON vied for the lead with COZUMEL from along the inside, responded when asked but was unable to resist the winner in a game try. ANNABELLE'S ASSET was prominently placed early racing three-wide, bumped repeatedly with LIVIN RIGHT nearing the seven-sixteenths pole from between horses then angled further out, offered a bid nearing the quarter pole and finished strongly in a good effort. ILLUSION OF CHOICE saved ground while nbeing unhurried and improved his position. LIVIN RIGHT broke in to bump with SUBTLE PRINCE then was close-up racing two-wide, came out slightly to bump with ANABELLE'S ASSET repeatedly nearing the seven-sixteenths pole and wealkened/. COZUMEL vied for the early lead racing two-wide, angled in nearing the three-eighths pole and tired. SUBTLE PRINCE was bumped at the start by LIVIN RIGHT then raced in the ack of the field and was not a factor. THE STEWARDS CONDUCTED AN INQUIRY INTO THE RUNNING OF THE RACE BUT AFTER VIEWING THE FILMS MADE NO CHANGE IN THE ORDER OF FINISH.
