Chart notes
SUMMER CYCLONE soon took the lead, set the pace inside, held sway. MY LAST ESCAPADE tracked the winner from inside, tipped out leaving the turn, chased that rival home but made no headway. DANDY RUBY shifted in stalking in behind the leaders from just off the rail into the turn, came out five wide for the drive, kept on but needed more. CITIZEN EX was up close outside pursuing five wide into the turn, floated nine wide into upper stretch, kept on. CHIEF GROSS was up close in pursuit four wide, floated eight deep turning for home, lacked the needed late kick. HELMO THE GREAT lacked early speed racing outside at the rear into the turn, shifted in leaving that turn, steadied at the furlong marker when in tight, ran on late to improve. WILL CONQUER chased from outside mid-pack five to six wide through the turn, swung ten wide into upper stretch, needed more late. STORMY ATTACK was a bit fractious in the gate, pressed the eventual winner, drifted out leaving the turn and came up empty. K J 'S RANSOM settled off the pace racing inside, saved ground on the turn, swung five wide into upper stretch then veered in drastically near the furlong marker and came up empty. POSITION OUR LUCK chased briefly three to four wide, dropped back and faded.
