Chart notes
AMASIA hard to load prior to the start, away in good order then settled outside of rivals, ran in pursuit four to five wide nearing the quarter marker, rallied from the five to six path into the lane, surged in deep stretch to catch EXQUISITE and was up in time. EXQUISITE hustled from the gate, showed good speed and set the pace to the turn, led to the quarter pole then kicked clear to upper stretch, held sway while on the left lead into the final sixteenth, was collared late by AMASIA then held safely for the place. ESCARGOT bumped at the start and trailed early, settled then advanced between rivals heading into the turn, ran in pursuit three to four wide at the quarter marker, chased four to five wide into the lane, was outkicked into the final sixteenth but held safely at the wire for the show. LONDON close up away from the gate, was caught in tight between rivals and shuffled back on the run to the turn, coaxed two wide and between runners to upper stretch, made a mild rally to the final sixteenth but needed more late. JACKIE BLUE vied for the early lead then ceded the front, stalked two to three wide into the turn, chased EXQUISITE to the quarter pole, repelled into upper stretch, couldn't find more into the stretch drive and flattened late. MODO LEYENDA off a bit slowly, rushed up and chased the early pace from the inside, saved ground to the turn then ran in pursuit to the quarter marker, ran on into upper stretch then weakened in the stretch drive.
