Chart notes
ENOS SLAUGHTER was settled for five furlongs then was asked for more while three wide, dueled the runnerup through the final quarter mile and dug in late to hold. MOUNT PELLIAR was unhurried early, commenced a bid while four wide, dueled outside the winner then battled bravely but settled for the place. BERNALINHO was four wide early, settled for three quarters of a mile, got outkicked by the top two in the final furlong and got a game nod for third. STOP AND A TRES lagged for five furlongs, came two then three wide to the stretch, picked off rivals in the drive and just missed the show. AIN'T NO SISSY had good speed, dueled for six furlongs then got outkicked and weakened. PORT ELLEN (IRE) was also dueling for the lead for six furlongs while off the rail but tired in the final furlong. BUZZED BY A TIGER had no speed and was never a threat.
