Chart notes
ROBIN RED was well measured setting the pace, repelled a challenge at the quarter pole and drew away in the lane as much the best. BRING THE POSSE reserved off the pace to race near the rear of the field to the top of the lane and closed well with a belated bid to be up for the place. NOW HEAR THIS stalked the pace into the turn, rallied to threaten at the quarter pole, was turned away by the winner and ran-on through the lane. ROYAL DUSTY tracked the leader to the quarter pole and lacked a closing response. MISS YOU NO MORE flashed brief speed to press the early pace and came up empty on the turn. SO THRILLING was not a factor.
