Chart notes
SALAHUDIN prompted three deep down the backstretch, then only with an inner rival while remaining in the three path into the turn, gained an advantage at the three furlong pole, drove clear at the quarter pole and drew off. GRAND YAUPON vied for the lead with an outer pair down the backstretch, backed off to stalk into the turn, shfited out to the three path entering the lane, ran on to gain place in the final furlong while hanging on his left lead and proved second best. BEARAMOUR was hustled out of the gate, vied two wide and between horses, then only inside of the eventual winner into the turn, got headed by that one with three furlongs to go, gave way at the quarter pole, yielded yet safely managed show. CHASING THE SON lacked speed in the three to two path then moved up to prevail in a photo for fourth. NEVER A DOUBT pursued from the four path, chased in the five path into the lane, faded and lost fourth at the wire. SARGENT BILKO bumped with an inner foe at the start, tugged in the three path and between horse, tracked into the turn, chased in the four path into the lane and weakened. TIGRADO bumped with an outer rival at the start, pursued along the inside and was done early.
