Chart notes
CONCEIT stalked two wide, roused in pursuit leaving the five sixteenths pole, bid along with an outer rival entering the lane, battled with that one leaving the furlong grounds and edged ahead. A FINE CHARDONNAY stalked three wide, ranged up to bid entering the lane, dueled with an inner foe through the final furlong but got outfinished. TWIRLING ACES set the pace along the inside while well in hand around the turn, got collared by an outer pair reaching the lane, headed in upper stretch and gave way. BETTY'S PEARL tracked along the inside, chased in the two path in upper stretch and lacked a bid. ALTADENA raced off of the pace in the two to three path and failed to factor. BET THE GRAY lacked speed in the four path and made little impct.
