Chart notes
CHARLIE NEAL saved ground while being allowed to settle, rallied four-wide into the stretch, was brushed by LEAD THE CHARGE nearing the sixteenth pole and prevailed under strong handling. LEAD THE CHARGE prompted MIDNIGHT TIGER racing two-wide, took the lead nearing the eighth pole then came out slightly nearong the sixteenth pole to brush with CHARLIE NEAL and held on gamely to the wire. MIDNIGHT TIGER saved ground setting the pace into the stretch and held on fairly well when headed for the show. IMPASSABLE saved ground while being reserved. angled pout to come two-wide into the stretch and lacked a rally. SOMEKINDAOUTLAW was allowed to settle racing three-wide, came five-wide into the stretch and was not a factor.
