Chart notes
CLASSIC ROCK got bumped in the hind end by MAIN THING lunging inwards while under hustling from the gate, established the front soon after and showed the way from the two path through blazing splits lightly coaxed along, came a bit closer to the rail to place MAIN THING in tight with five-sixteenths to go when that rival briefly latched on, swung three to four wide into upper stretch roused to a drive, shied out under a left handed crop while forging clear with authority kept to task to the finish. MAIN THING lunged inwards at the break bumping the aforementioned foe in the hind end, chased just off the inside and then along the inside coming under coaxing three furlongs out, advanced to latch on the leader near the five-sixteenths as had that rival come inwards tightening up the inside, angled out four to five wide into upper stretch, proved no match for the top one while keeping on to secure the place honors well clear of the rest. NORDIC FYRE broke a half a beat slow and was steadied and altered out at the start avoiding the calamity directly in front when a pair of rivals broke outwards from the inside and JUST CLASSIC stumbled outside and recovered inwards, conceded eight to nine lengths to the front before settling into stride, chased three then two wide under a ride from three furlongs out, swung four wide into upper stretch and passed tired rivals to the finish. BAKUTO broke out at the start filling the space left vacant by HOLY DANCER and pinching that rival back in tandem with the stumbling recovering JUST CLASSIC, chased four wide under urging from three furlongs out, angled out six to seven wide into upper stretch and weakened. CAPT FLUFF N STUFF chased four paths off the inside until tucked two to three wide with nine-sixteenths to go, tucked to the two path into the turn and came under encouragement at the seven-sixteenths pole, angled out seven to eight wide at the top of the stretch and weakened. MR. MASHIGINA brushed the near side stall at the start, chased three wide under a ride from the seven-sixteenths pole, spun just off the inside into upper stretch and tired. JUST CLASSIC stumbled badly at the start and was turned in when bumped by HOLY DANCER breaking outwards and conceded five to six lengths to the front before settling into stride, chased three then two wide under urging from three furlongs out, went eight to nine wide into upper stretch and tired. HOLY DANCER broke out at the start bumping JUST CLASSIC turning that rival inwards and got pinched back between that foe and the breaking outwards BAKUTO, conceded eight to nine lengths to the front, chased along the inside under urging from the three-eighths marker, continued in the inside route into upper stretch and trailed.
