Chart notes
SUM OF SUCCESS set the pace on the inside, was challenged on the turn, responded when roused at the top of the lane, drew off under urging, widened and was ridden out. BOYHOOD DREAM chased inside early on, chased on the turn, came three wide into the lane, rallied outside and was along for the place award. IT'S SMOKING was bumped at the start, chased four wide early, bid two wide on the turn, chased the winner into the stretch, dug in, then held on for third. AMERICAN ROADSTER chased between rivals, was in tight and shuffled back at the half mile marker, then raced inside on the turn and gained mildly on the rail in the lane. ROAD TO MIDNIGHT chased three wide early, chased on the turn and faded. SPICY TACO broke out bumping a rival at the start, raced off the rail, off the pace and was outrun.
