Chart notes
KANAZAWA angled in abruptly shortly from the gate causing inside rival to shy to the inside crowding the inside runners in a chain reaction, quickly went clear when straightened away and was never challenged. HALF BIRTHDAY was bumped by rival to her outside when the winner crowded the field shortly away from the gate, taken up to be the trailer as the ultimate cause of MISS STONES bearing in while shying away from the pacesetter down the backside, settled into stride to rally on the turn and finished well to be second best. VALIANT VICTORIA chased the winner at the head of the balance of the field and kept-on through the lane unable to close the gap. QUEEN ANNA T was crowded early by the chain reaction when the winner crossed over the field shortly away from the gate, bumped rival to her inside causing that one to steady and went evenly from there failing to menace. MISS STONES shied away from the winner as that one crossed to the inside shortly from the gate, caused inside two rivals to bump, raced in mid-pack on the outside of the trouble pair down the backside, dropped from contention on the turn and was persevered with in the lane. THE RIDER OF THE RUNNER-UP CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST THE WINNER FOR THAT ONE'S ACTIONS AWAY FROM THE GATE AND DOWN THE BACKSTRETCH IN THE FIRST EIGHTH OF A MILE, UPON REVIEW THE STEWARDS MADE NO CHANGE.
