Chart notes
BIGWRIGDUDE broke a bit outward and bumped with MATCHING FUNDS, corrected and attended the pace two wide outside EMANCIPATION, drew alongside leaving the far turn, sparred in close proximity from there, held a slim advantage past the furlong grounds and dug in tenaciously under a drive to prove best. EMANCIPATION took over along the inside while in hand past the three quarter pole, rated kindly up front, dug in when joined near the three eighths, went head to head into the lane and past mid stretch, kept on valiantly and held down the place. MATCHING FUNDS , lightly bumped leaving the gate, rated off the leading trio while saving ground, remained patiently handled past the five sixteenths, worked outward for room leaving the three sixteenths and closed steadily. TASK tracked the embattled leaders three wide, was under pressure past the quarter pole, was fanned five wide in upper stretch, straightened then failed to drum up the needed finish.
