Chart notes
OLIVERIO broke outward bumping KNOCK WOOD then was bumped from his inside at the start, settled within striking distance, drew on even terms for the lead approaching the top of the stretch, dug in under left handed urging and got up by a narrow margin in the final strides. K KID vied for the lead along the inside, bid into the stretch, dueled through the final furlong drifted out brushing WETZEL nearing the wire, was righted swiftly and just missed. WETZEL set a pressured pace two wide, dug in gamely when joined by the top pair, was brushed nearing the wire then outfinished. RAZOR TAP was hung six wide into the clubhouse turn, moved up four wide on the second bend then leveled off. KNOCK WOOD was bumped at the start and had no impact. OVID bore out, bumping the winner at the start then failed to menace.
