Chart notes
LEVEE NATIVE set the pace, bore out late and just lasted. TOUCH MONEY came in and bumped at the start, rallied between horses on the turn, altered course mid stretch, surged and was gaining fast late. CARLOS THE KID chased the pace, lacked the needed late response and earned show in a good effort. WARRIOR'S FLIGHT hopped and bumped at the start, saved ground, bid along the rail on the turn and hung late. PISTOL PETEY broke awkwardly to be off slowly, saved ground and closed well. HEAT OF BATTLE was reluctant to load, raced mid pack in an even effort and failed to menace. SABRA'S BREAUX hesitated at the start to be off slowly and was not a factor. COUNTLESS was reluctant to load, stalked the pace to the turn, leveled off and faded through the stretch. INDIAN BELL was pinched back at the start and outrun.
